Enerwave cares about the environment and so offers to its Low Voltage business customers the Green service and to its Medium and High Voltage business customers the Green Certificate service.
Green and Green Certificate are services that allow you to purchase “green” energy that is produced 100% from Renewable Energy Sources (RES).
The services are based on the Guarantees of Origin system (GO), as defined in the Directive 2009/28/EC and the Ministerial decision ∆6/Φ1/οικ.8786 (ΦΕΚ 646/14.5.2010).
The Guarantee of Origin (GO) is an electronic certificate, issued by the Operator of RES & Guarantees of Origin (DAPEEP S.A.), which provides proof of the source of the electricity generated in a RES (Renewable Energy Sources) or CHP (combined heat and power) units during a certain period of time.
With the Green and Green Certificate services, for every megawatthour (MWh) of electricity consumed, Enerwave will supply the same amount of Guarantees of Origin, which Enerwave secures with local renewable energy (Solar and Wind) producers.
