Green Service
If you want to purchase “green” energy that is 100% produced from Renewable Energy Sources (RES), the Green service is for you!
The Green service is based on the Guarantees of Origin system (GO) and its operating rules are determined by the Ministerial Decision ΥΠΕΝ/ΔΑΠΕΕΚ/81331/3661/2022 (GG Β΄4246/10.08.2022) and are specified in the Domain Protocol as approved and validated by the AIB.
The Guarantee of Origin (GO) is an electronic certificate, issued by the DAPEEP S.A. (Operator of RES & Guarantees of Origin), providing proof of origin of electricity equal to 1MWh, generated by RES (Renewable Energy Sources) or CHP (combined heat and power) in a production unit for period of one calendar month.
