Where a Licenced Electrician Certification (YDE) is required by the competent authority (HEDNO) upon applying for a new residential connection to the grid, specialised electricians from Douleutaras will check the electrical installation of the property to make sure that it is proper and safe. Then, they will undertake to submit the certification on your behalf.
Enerwave will be responsible for the entire procedure and will bear the cost of this operation.
This promotion applies only to residential use in Attica & Thessaloniki.
The YDE is necessary in any of the following situations according to HEDNO requirements:
- Modification to the electrical installation or supply (change of name, charging meter transfer, off-peak tariff, supply increase).
- New installation or application for a permanent connection to the grid (new building).
- Periodic inspection of the electrical installation.
- Building renovation.
- First-time supply of electricity to the property.
- Inspection and re-inspection of electrical installations - at least every 10 years for residences and similar spaces.
- Applies to all categories when affected by a natural disaster such as an earthquake or a flood, or following a change of use of the installation, or after a serious accident or complaint.
